Tomatillo Hot Sauce at Ramiro's Cantina, Louisville, KY

Dinner at Ramiro’s Cantina here in Louisville was 5-Star delicious. Star #1 – Tequila Carnitas. Star #2 – Guacamole. Star #3 – Refried Beans. Star #4 – Cantina Margarita. And Star #5 – Ramiro’s House Made Tomatillo Hot Sauce.

I loved everything about this meal at Ramiro’s. The Tequila Carnitas were falling apart tender and packed with flavor. The Guacamole was creamy and spicy in just the right way. The Refried Beans were homemade, soupy and smokey. The Cantina Margarita was ice cold, strong, razor sharp and mouth puckering sour.

And the Tomatillo Hot Sauce was so good I would go back just for it.  I hope they start selling bottles.

A sign at the door said these were voted Best Margaritas in Louisville. So I had to get one to see for myself (he says, pretending he wasn’t going to anyway and that everyone believes him.)
